Problem 1: "I Can't Find a Good IPTV App in the App Store"
Apple's App Store is stricter than Google Play, which means fewer dedicated IPTV players make it through review. The two apps we recommend for IPTV Pay subscribers on iOS are both approved, stable, and actively maintained.
Fix: Use IBO Player (the classic, reliable choice) or IBO Pro Player (the newer version with a cleaner interface). Both are available on the App Store and work out of the box with your IPTV Pay subscription credentials.
- IBO Player โ Download on the App Store
- IBO Pro Player โ Download on the App Store
Problem 2: "My IPTV App Keeps Buffering on iPhone"
Buffering on iOS is almost never a subscription quality issue โ it is almost always a local network or app-settings issue. Before blaming your IPTV service, run through this quick checklist.
Fix:
- Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa) to isolate the problem.
- In the app settings, lower the stream quality temporarily (e.g., from 4K to 1080p) to test if it is a bandwidth ceiling.
- Close all background apps on your iPhone/iPad to free up memory.
- Restart the app, then restart the device if the issue persists.
- If you are on Wi-Fi, move closer to your router or switch to the 5GHz band.
Tip: For consistently smooth 4K streaming on iOS, a stable connection of at least 25 Mbps is recommended. You can test your speed at fast.com directly from Safari.
Problem 3: "The EPG (TV Guide) is Empty or Not Loading"
An empty programme guide is one of the most common complaints from new IPTV users on iPhone. The EPG data is fetched separately from the channel streams, so if it fails, your streams still work fine โ it just looks broken.
Fix: In IBO Player or IBO Pro Player, go to Settings โ EPG URL and make sure the EPG address provided in your welcome message is entered correctly โ including the full URL with no extra spaces. After saving, force a full EPG refresh from the same settings menu. Allow up to two minutes for it to populate.
Problem 4: "I Entered My Credentials But the App Shows 'Connection Failed'"
A connection-failed error at login is almost always a typo or formatting issue, not a server outage.
Fix:
- Copy-paste your server URL, username, and password directly from your welcome message rather than typing them manually โ this eliminates typos.
- Make sure the server URL does not have a trailing slash unless it was provided with one.
- Check that you selected the correct connection type (Xtream Codes API vs. M3U URL) in the app โ your welcome message will specify which one to use.
If the error persists after careful copy-pasting, contact us via WhatsApp support โ we can verify your credentials and reset them instantly.
Problem 5: "The App Crashes Every Time I Open It"
Crashes on launch are usually caused by a corrupted app cache or an outdated version of the app itself.
Fix:
- Go to iPhone Settings โ General โ iPhone Storage โ find the app โ tap "Offload App".
- Reinstall the app fresh from the App Store.
- Make sure your iOS version is up to date โ older iOS versions can cause compatibility issues with newer app builds.
Problem 6: "Video Quality Looks Blurry Even on a Fast Connection"
If streams look soft or blocky despite a fast internet connection, the app may be forcing a lower quality profile by default.
Fix: In IBO Pro Player, go to Settings โ Playback โ Video Quality and set it to Auto or High. Some app versions default to a lower-bandwidth profile to preserve mobile data โ override this when you are on Wi-Fi.
Problem 7: "Subtitles Are Not Working on My iPad"
Subtitle support in IPTV players depends on both the stream encoding and the player's built-in capabilities. Not all streams include subtitle tracks.
Fix: In IBO Player, while a stream is playing, tap the screen to reveal the player controls and look for a subtitle icon (often a speech-bubble symbol). If no subtitle options appear, the stream itself does not carry a subtitle track for that language. This is a content limitation, not an app bug.
Problem 8: "I Want to Watch on Both My iPhone and iPad โ Is That Allowed?"
Using your subscription on multiple Apple devices is straightforward โ it depends on your plan, not the app.
Fix: A single-device plan allows one simultaneous stream. If you want to watch on your iPhone and iPad at the same time, you need a multi-device plan. Check the pricing page for the 2-connection and 3-connection options. The app itself can be installed on as many devices as you like โ what counts is concurrent streams.
Good to know: All IPTV Pay plans include the same channel lineup and quality. The only difference between single and multi-device plans is the number of simultaneous streams allowed.
Problem 9: "I Tried Several Apps and None of Them Work"
If you have tried both recommended apps and neither connects, the issue is most likely with the credentials, not the apps.
Fix: The fastest resolution is to contact us via WhatsApp โ include a screenshot of the error message and your connection type (Xtream or M3U). We can usually identify and resolve the issue within minutes. Our FAQ page also covers the most common credential errors in detail.
